The Hiding Place Plot
The movie chronicles the tale of the ten Boom family, who during World War II protected Jewish immigrants from the Nazis. In the opening scene of the movie, Nan Gurley’s Corrie ten Boom and Carrie Tillis’ Betsie are running a watch store in Haarlem, Netherlands. The sisters are devoted Christians who feel it is their responsibility to assist those in need. The ten Booms start to hide Jewish refugees in their house when the Nazis conquer the Netherlands. The 10 Booms are followed as they work to rescue the lives of several Jewish refugees in the movie. Nazis finally detain the sisters and send them to a concentration camp.
