The first look of the film *Kalan*, jointly produced by Ramalakshmi Productions and Anusuya Film Productions, has been officially released. Directed by Veeramurugan, known for his previous film *Kidugu*, *Kalan* features a cast that includes Deepa, Appu Kutty, Sampath Ram, Cheran Raj, Gurumurthy, Manimaran, Rajesh, Yasar, Peter Saravanan, Velu, Mukesh, Mohan, and others.
The film’s technical team includes Jerson as the music composer, Vignesh handling editing, and Jayakumar overseeing cinematography. Lyricists Jayakumar and JK have contributed to the film’s songs. The art direction is led by Gurumurthy and Kumari Vijayan, with Tilakarajan and Ambeth managing set design. Variety Bala is responsible for choreography, and Santhosh handles sound engineering. Associate directors Jagan Albert, Balaji Saminathan, Mahesh, and others have also contributed to the production. Kalan is scheduled to release in 2024.
