He was born on August 22, 1955, in Mogalthur, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi began his career in Tollywood in 1978 with the film “Punadhirallu,” directed by S. D. Lal.

However, it was his second film, “Pranam Khareedu,” directed by K. Vasu, that brought him recognition and paved the way for his success in the film industry. Chiranjeevi quickly became a household name in Tollywood with his impressive performances and captivating screen presence.
