Manivasagam is a temple priest who lives in the village Kodangipatti , near Virudhunagar. The village people are mostly uneducated and uncivilized. The village faces Water Scarcity, and it does not have any basic facilities, they try and write a lot of petitions to the collector but there is no response from the Government. The people of this village are mostly innocent and naive, they suffer a lot due to water scarcity, so the government finally gives permission to dig a common well for all of them. They finalize the spot which is around Manivasagam’s property. While digging the property, Manivasagam’s grandfather meets with an accident and dies, this makes Manivasagam sadder. After digging for a long time, they find Dinosaur fossils. The department of Archaeology arrives in and begin their research and suspect fossils might be allover the village. This becomes an important news. It reaches all the higher officials. The department of Archaeology requests the government to evacuate all the villagers from the village to do a proper research. The government orders the villagers to move out and promises that they will construct new buildings for their living,. Meanwhile the villagers get agitated by the signs of the government. So Manivasagam and the naïve villagers steal some of the dinosaur fossil’s and make the government officials run behind them. They threat the Minister to approve their requests. The requests are to solve the issues of water scarcity, damaged roads and to construct a museum along with the Dinosaur fossil. These villagers believe that the museum might become the attraction for their village. They also plan to convert the museum as a temple where Manivasagam does his rituals along with the villagers. All their problems get sorted in the end. They achieve it through their innocent and funny take on life. They all are funny enough to handle all the hard situations in a comical way.
